Crispy bread with tomato sauce, ham and cheese. Delicious as a side dish or as a snack during the BBQ.
Preparation
Score the baguette with a sharp knife and don’t cut it all the way through. Mix the tomato sauce with the herbs and spread it between each notch. Tear the ham slices into pieces and put them in between. Sprinkle some cheese in there too.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place on the BBQ. Make sure it is not too hot or put the bread on the edge. Heat the bread for about 10 minutes.
If you use a bake-off baguette, it may be that the bread needs a little longer on the bbq. You can also make the bread in the oven, then you can also make it without aluminum foil.
