Potatoes from the oven in a delicious creamy pesto sauce. A versatile side dish that goes well with almost anything. 



Clean (or peel) the potatoes well. Cut them into large equal pieces. Bring a pan of water to the boil and pre-cook the potatoes for about 10 minutes. You can also pre-cook in the microwave.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Cut the zucchini into pieces.
Mix the pesto with the crème frache in a small bowl.
Drain the potatoes and place them in a large bowl with the zucchini. Mix in the creamy pesto along with some fresh basil leaves. Season with some salt and pepper.
Place the potatoes in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake the pesto potatoes in the oven for about 30 minutes. Delicious with a piece of (vegetarian) meat or fish and another tasty side dish.
Tip: Also nice to try with red pesto.
