Pear with ricotta and ham

Must Try

This delicious appetizer of sweet caramelized pear with ham and ricotta is very easy to make.

Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the pears into quarters and remove the core and place the segments on a baking tray lined with baking paper. I haven’t peeled the pears, but you can. Mix the agave syrup or honey with lemon juice and cinnamon.

Brush the pears with this and then put them in the oven for 5 minutes until they are warm and starting to color slightly. Divide the arugula among 4 plates. Place 2 pear wedges slightly apart on each plate. Spoon some ricotta on top. Add a slice of ham. Sprinkle with some walnuts and serve with the toasts.
