Greek salad in filo dough

Must Try

Nice to present; cups of filo dough filled with a Greek salad and spicy prawns

Ingredients

3 sheets of filo dough
50 gr butter
2 tbsp black olives
125 gr cherry tomatoes
75 g feta cheese
¼ cucumber
Splash of olive oil
½ teaspoon oregano
100 g king prawns, cooked and peeled (with or without tail)
Pinch of cayenne pepper
materials
4 oven dishes of about 10 – 12 cm

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Defrost the filo dough if necessary. I always put the filo dough under a slightly damp tea towel while it is thawing, this reduces the risk of tearing. Melt the butter and grease the baking dishes. Also brush the sheets of filo dough one by one with butter and cut them into quarters to form 12 small squares. Place 3 pieces of filo dough on top of each other to create a kind of star shape. Carefully push these into the oven dishes so that a nice container is formed. Place the molds in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile make the salad; Half the cherry tomatoes, cut the cucumber and feta into pieces and mix together. Stir in the olives and add a dash of olive oil and the oregano. Bake the prawns with a little cayenne pepper in a frying pan for about 3 minutes. Remove the filo pastry trays from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spoon in some salad and divide the prawns over it.
