Figs with ricotta and bacon

Must Try

Delicious fresh figs filled with ricotta and walnut and a crispy bacon crust. Also delicious as a tapas dish.

Ingredients

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Cut the figs into quarters, but don’t cut them all the way through. Carefully open the segments slightly and spoon in a little ricotta.
Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each fig and place in a baking dish. Be careful because a little moisture may come out.
Sprinkle the figs with some walnut pieces and drizzle with a little honey. Put them in the oven for about 8 minutes until the bacon starts to harden a bit.
Divide a little arugula among a few small plates. Remove the figs from the oven and let them cool for a minute, then carefully place them on top of the arugula.
