Roasted nuts with Ras el Hanout from the airfryer

Must Try

Delicious roasted nuts that you can easily roast yourself in your airfryer together with the delicious Ras el Hanout spice mix.

Ingredients

Necessities

Preparation

Place the nuts in a bowl and add (if you bought unsalted nuts) a pinch of sea salt, 1 teaspoon of Ras el Hanout spices and 1 tablespoon of mild olive oil.

Set the airfryer to 150° degrees and bake the nuts for 5 minutes. Then shake the nuts well and fry for another 5 minutes. Do you think they are getting quite dark already? Then shorten the baking time, because they will continue to cook.
Once the nuts are done, transfer them to a plate or bowl and let them cool for at least 30 minutes to allow the released oils to infuse back into the nuts. Keep them in a sealed jar.
Tips: The nuts have a subtle Ras el Hanout flavour. You can add a little more Ras el Hanout herbs to your own taste.
If necessary, add some pumpkin seeds to the mixture when you put it in the airfryer for the second time.
Choose whether you buy the almonds with or without the skin. It doesn’t matter for the recipe.
Eat the recommended maximum 25 grams or nuts per day. Nuts are healthy, but fat. Read more about how healthy nuts are here .
Don’t have an air fryer, but this looks good to you? You can also make this in the oven. Check the correct oven times per nut in this blog .
