Preparation

Make the bread dough as described on the package and let it rise for the first time.
Flour the work surface and roll out the dough. Do this in 2 times if necessary, otherwise a very large piece of dough will be created.
Spread the top with pesto and divide the fresh basil and pine nuts over it.
Roll up the dough and cut into slices of about 3 cm.
Grease a baking pan or cover with baking paper. I fit 12 rolls in one oven dish, so I needed 2 dishes. Divide the rolls over the bottom and keep about 1 cm space between them. Cover and let rise a second time.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C.
Place the buns in the oven for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown.
