 Chop the pecan nuts into small pieces and stir them into the batter. Also add half of the cranberries to the batter, reserving the other half to garnish the muffins. Place the muffin tins in the muffin tin and fill them about three quarters full with the batter.

 Finally, place the remaining cranberries on top. Place the muffin pan in the oven for 20 minutes. Always check whether the muffins are cooked with a skewer.
