Small savory tarts with sauerkraut and smoked sausage, a delicious winter combination.




 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease the muffin tins with a little butter. Cover them with a slice of savory dough. The edges may overlap slightly. Put the mold in the fridge for as long. Drain the sauerkraut and then put it in a saucepan. Bake for about 5 minutes so that the remaining moisture evaporates slightly and the sauerkraut becomes softer. Cut the smoked sausage into small cubes and add a pinch of salt and pepper to the sauerkraut. Beat the eggs with the cream and grated cheese. Divide the sauerkraut mixture among the muffin tins. Pour the egg mixture over the top and bake the tarts in the oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.
